An ordinarily ordinary traffic check provides a new piece of information: Arthur “Art” Gallery, an assassin, has been tracking Jesse. Despite finding a “deer rifle” in the trunk, Jesse lets the man go with a warning: “Don’t follow me around!” For hunting game, such as a deer, the flashlight attached to the barrel of the “deer rifle” would have been illegal. Still, given the assassin’s assumed aim of killing a guy, it would have been extremely helpful, if not essential, and Jesse made a mental note of it.
